Kirk Cousins says farewell to Redskins' fans

It's so hard to say good-bye to yesterday, which is exactly why Redskins' quarterback Kirk Cousins wrote a lengthy blog post to fans, saying farewell.

It's so hard to say good-bye to yesterday, which is exactly why Redskins' quarterback Kirk Cousins wrote a lengthy blog post to fans, saying farewell.

Cousins spent the last four seasons with the Washington team, and was the starting qb since the 2015 season.

After the 2017-2018 season, the Washington Redskins decided to not place the franchise tag on him, and actually made a trade for Alex Smith.

That was probably the nail in the coffin, that fans needed to realize that Cousins would not be coming back.
