WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- A suspect who entered a store in Northeast, D.C. and waved a gun at the store clerk is wanted in connection with an attempted armed robbery, Metropolitan police said.

The incident happened in the 4800 block of Nannie Helen Burroughs Avenue on October 5 around 3:45 a.m., authorities said.

Surveillance video shows the suspect entering the store with a mask on and waving a gun at the store clerk.

The Department currently offers a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a violent offense, including armed robbery, committed in the District of Columbia.
