"This is the first time we have organized a school wide-service project of this magnitude. The event was a wonderful opportunity for us to make an impact, while also bringing past and present members of our community together for a meaningful, shared experience." said Dr. Elinor Scully, Head of School.

To cover the cost of each of the meals, the students, families and sponsors raised more than $20,000 to pay for the meals.

The meal-packing event was the end of the school's inaugural 'Week of Giving' which ran March 12-16.
