PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, Va. (WUSA9) -- Several arrests were made in connection with Internet crimes against children in Prince William County, police said.

An operation targeting people soliciting minors for sexual acts online was done between the months of April and May 2015, Prince William County police said.

Detectives went onto an undisclosed site and pretended to be underage juvenile females. Several men got in touch with the detectives and solicited sexual acts. The men set up a time and a place to meet the detective in every incident. Search warrants for residents and vehicles were then obtained for the men.

The following people were arrested and are being charged: John Andrew Dutch, 25, of Manassas, Patrick Ryan Hamilton, 34, Burke, Joshua Kaminoff, 39, of Herndon, Andrew Yun Lee, 41, of Gainesville, Abel Maldonado, 30, Lothian, Md., Ivan Sandoval-Reyes, 21 and Lamar A. Sharp, 28, of Manassas.

All of the men were charged with attempted indecent liberties with children and using a communication device to facilitate certain offenses involving children.

Maldonado was also charged with attempt to produce child pornography.
