Members of the Fairfax fire department welcomed a new baby on Wednesday when they helped a mom deliver her newborn at home.

The crew from Fire Station 39, North Point, B-Shift were called to the home on March 14, just around 11 p.m. There, they helped the mom deliver a healthy baby girl, along with her big sister and dad present.

The mom and her baby were transported to a local hospital after the birth.

On Friday, the crew visited the family in the hospital, bringing gifts for both the newborn baby and her big sister
