A Woodbridge, Va. man is accused of raping a 12-year-old girl he met on Instagram, Prince William County Police said Tuesday.

Police went to Tyquan Bernard Stoney’s home in the 14400 block of Belvedere Drive Monday evening looking for a girl who was missing from King George County. When they knocked on the front door, they said he tried to run out of the back door.

Officers arrested Stoney and found the missing 12-year-old girl inside the house.

Detectives said they determined the girl and Stoney met on the social media app Instagram. They believe he went to the victim’s house in King George County on Monday and brought her back to his home in Prince William County.

Stoney has been charged with two counts each of rape, object sexual penetration, aggravated sexual battery, sodomy, and indecent liberties with a minor.

He’s being held without bond.
