Police are searching for a suspect after they said he robbed a bank in Montgomery Village Monday afternoon.
Montgomery County police officers responded to the Sandy Spring Bank located at 9921 Stedwick Road to investigate a bank robbery on June 12 at around 2:18 p.m.
The suspect reportedly entered the bank, approached a teller and passed a note that demanded money. The note implied the suspect had a weapon. The suspect was given an undisclosed amount of cash and left the bank.
Anyone with information about the suspect or this bank robbery is asked to contact the Montgomery County Police Department – Major Crimes Division at 240-773-5070.
