A person was charged for assaulting an adult student on a school bus, Prince George’s County Police said.
The suspect, 45-year-old Owoade Elusanni, is a private employee hired by another student’s family to care for that student.
The investigation revealed that Elusanni repeatedly struck a 19-year-old student on a school bus that was in the parking lot of C. Elizabeth Rieg Regional School in Mitchellville on Sept. 2.
The assault was recorded on a camera on the bus. The student did not suffer serious injuries.
Elusanni was charged with second-degree assault and reckless endangerment. A criminal summons has been issued for her.
