Police are investigating a body found at a lake in Montgomery County, Maryland as a possible drowning.
Around 5:10 p.m., police responded to Maple Lake in Gaithersburg after a groundskeeper located personal belongings near the lake.
Montgomery County Fire and Rescue to search the pond. Rescuers found and recovered a body in the water.
The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Police say there is no indication of foul play in this death.
The Medical Examiner’s Office in Baltimore will determine the cause of death and assist in confirming the identity of this person.
