Pedestrian hit in Rockville, left with serious injuries

Rescue personnel responded to the area of East Gude Drive and Taft Street for the report of the man struck.

ROCKVILLE, Md. — A driver ran into a man with his Toyota Monday, and now the victim faces life-threatening injuries, according to the Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD). 

The tragic incident happened at 5:38 p.m. and officers from the MCPD and Rockville City Police along with Montgomery County Fire Rescue personnel responded to the area of East Gude Drive and Taft Street.

 The driver of the Toyota did remain at the scene after the incident. The victim was transported to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.
