A man is facing two first degree assault charges after a fight with his girlfriend Saturday afternoon in Montgomery County.

Around 3:30 p.m., police received a call for a man with a gun at a house on Clarksburg Road in Boyds.

Police say Michael Sisler allegedly fired shots into the ground during an argument with his girlfriend.

One of the Park Police officers who responded found Sisler armed with a rifle and handgun.

Police say Sisler dropped the handgun, but refused to put down the riddle, so the officer tazed Sisler.

He was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
