Police have found a missing 73-year-old mother with Alzheimer's and her 50-year-old daughter from Montgomery County, Maryland. They have both been located safe and unharmed, police stated.
Marie Grant and her daughter Arlene Grant were last seen on Saturday at a family function. Arlene has contacted family members via text since that time but has not provided information about her and her mother’s whereabouts.
Arlene picked up Maria from her assisted-living home located on Cairncross Terrace so they could both attend the family gathering.
After the event, Arlene was supposed to drive her back home, but she did not.
Family and police are concerned for Arlene and Marie Grant’s emotional and physical welfare. Marie is non-verbal and uses a wheelchair and she is without her medication.
Arlene is described as an African-American female, about 5’09” inches tall and 145 pounds. Marie Grant is described as an African-American female, about 5’2″ inches tall and 130 pounds.
Marie Grant was wearing a white shirt and black pants. Arlene is believed to be driving a 2016 silver Nissan Quest minivan with Maryland tags: 6CH5492.
