At least two people in the D.C., Maryland, and Virginia region has died as a result of the damaging winds on Friday.
Officials say a six-year-old boy in Richmond and a 77-year-old woman in Baltimore died on Friday.
The little boy has been identified as Anthony Hamilton. He was killed when a tree fell on his family's home. A neighbor was able to crawl in and pull the child out of his bunk bed.
Anthony was rushed to the hospital but he did not survive.
The fire department says a 77-year-old woman went outside to get her mail. A large branch snapped off a tree, struck her, and pinned her underneath.
A neighbor called 911, but first responders could not save her.
