DC police arrested a 21-year-old man in connection with two burglaries in Southeast, D.C.

Police said on August 4, the suspect, Andy Williams of Southeast, broke into a house on the 4800 block of Bass Place, Southeast at around 5:27 a.m. The resident woke up, and Williams fled the scene.

Williams was arrested on August 31, after an arrest warrant was issued. Authorities charged him with Burglary One.

Subsequently, officials charged Williams with another burglary from August 3 wherein he broke into a home between 7 a.m. and 12 p.m. He fled the scene with some of the victim's property.
