Smithsonian Folklife Festival

All about experience international culture and stepping out of your comfort zone? Well the Smithsonian Folklive Festival is back in town and will give you a taste of the world. Learn about cultural traditions, dance, laugh and enjoy some crafts and cooking of course.

When was the last time you actually went to the circus? How about taking a trip to the National Harbor to enjoy the lights and to watch performances that will make your jaw drop. Don't worry if you can't make it this weekend! The circus won't be leaving any time soon.

All night at the museum

The National Air and Space Museum is turning 40 on Friday and naturally there is a celebration. It's an all night at the museum kind of celebration. Yes! The museum opens up at 9 p.m. and doesn't close until 10 a.m. That gives you plenty of time to celebrate and see everything you've always wanted to see in the Air and Space museum.

National Independence Day Parade

Show your American pride at the National Independence Day Parade on July 4. Enjoy parades, music, floats, marching bands and more right in the heart of the Nation's Capital.

4th of July Fireworks on the National Mall

And of course you can catch the fireworks on the National Mall on Monday... that's if you don't have to be up too early for work on Tuesday. The fireworks are launched from the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool and can be seen over the Washington Monument.
