Authorities said the threats were made online. The post is full of curse words, however it appears to come from a student who is mad over being suspended.

Detectives interviewed "individuals of interest" and took an electronic device. They searched for weapons, but found no weapons.

The police department is continuing to investigate other leads in the case.

Out of an abundance of caution, more officers are in place at each of the city schools in Fairfax.

Fairfax County Public Schools said families of Fairfax High have been emailed about the threat.
