WASHINGTON (WUSA9) — A person with a weapon was arrested for assault in Northwest, D.C., Wednesday afternoon, Secret Service confirmed.
Secret Service responded to the area of 1250 23rd Street in Northwest for the report of shots fired. Authorities determined that no shots were fired, however a person with a weapon was arrested for assault and then taken to D.C. police for processing.
An investigation is now underway.
