A man is dead after he was shot in the back in Southeast, D.C. overnight, D.C. police said.
The shooting happened around 1:20 a.m. in the 1200 block of W Street in Southeast.
D.C. officers found 22-year-old Kenneth Ronald Davis, Jr. from Southeast, D.C. suffering from life-threatening gunshot wounds. He was taken to the hospital, where he died from his injuries.
The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone that provides information which leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia.
