Opponents to the Senate's Healthcare Bill came out in force all across D.C. Wednesday afternoon.

Protesters gathered outside of the Trump Hotel on Pennsylvania Avenue where President Donald Trump hosted guests for a re-election fundraiser.

Pediatrician Nora Vish told WUSA9 she was concerned about how changes to the healthcare system could impact children and the very sick.

"Nobody wants to have a devastating diagnosis, but can't we be the country to provide medical care for them?" she said.

Hundreds of protesters also gathered on the southeast ground of Capitol Hill. Senators Kamala Harris and Corey Booker were just a few of the Democrats to make an appearance at the rally.

"We need healthcare for all of our citizens now," said Georgia Representative John Lewis.
