When you talk about wineries most people think about wine country and vineyards, but one business is bringing wine making into the city.
District Winery is known as DC's first ever functional, commercial winery.
The owners bring in grapes from different regions since the business is in an urban area and does not have easy access to vineyards.
One harvest can produce up to 70,000 bottles of wine, but specialists said it can take up to one year or more to be complete.
The staff says wine has become more popular with millennials over the last few years.
District winery is located at 385 Water Street in Southeast DC.
