Deaf riders are worried about Metro’s looming safety shutdown.

Gallaudet University students said they’ll be cut off from Northeast D.C. and Maryland.

Starting Saturday, the Red Line will shut down between Gallaudet and Fort Totten for 25 days.

“It’s a big concern,” said student Aleksandr Rozentsvit through an interpreter. “I need to see [Metro] do more.”

Metro said it has created a sign language video about buses bypassing the shutdown.

This is the second-longest part of Metro’s big safety overhaul. It ends Nov. 22.
