The Target store on 14th Street Northwest in Columbia Heights was told it could not sell any food on Friday after rodents were seen inside.
Starbucks and the cafeteria were both closed after the Department of Health was at the store, according to a Target spokesperson.
The D.C. Department of Health said the rodents were found during a regular inspection on Thursday.
The store was closed at that time but reopened Friday. It will need to be re-inspected, the health department said.
They are not sure when the store will be able to sell food again.
