A shooting was reported in a parking lot at a mall in Montgomery County.
Around 7:08 p.m. it was reported that there was a shooting in a parking lot at the Westfield Montgomery Mall on Democracy Boulevard.
WUSA9's Pete Muntean reported shell casings were found in the parking lot outside the mall's Macy’s.
Police say two to three men were involved. Stores at the mall remained opened.
Police believe the shooting happened after an argument. Two groups of men comprised of two males each became involved in an argument that started off of mall property. The argument continued to the mall parking lot where shots were fired by one or more of the suspects.
Police say the men involved ran and officers have not been able to locate the suspects. There are no reported victims at this time.
