1. Family Day: A Taste of Chocolate City

This festival has it all: food, vendors, bounce houses, face paint, but most importantly, culture. Run by the Prince George's African American Museum and Cultural Center, the festival features black owned restaurants from around the area. This day combines culture with fun for the whole family with their live performances, fitness workshops, activities for the kids, and more! 2. Smithsonian Folklife Festival

The 50th Annual Smithsonian Folklife Festival celebrates the people of America and immigration. You can learn about immigration and different cultures through their international cuisines and performances. Plus, see spectacular circus acts with clowns, acrobats, and learn about the behind the scenes of the circus. This is a jam-packed festival that you definitely don't want to miss! The best part is: it's free! Head to the National Mall from 11-7pm anytime this weekend for an exciting festival!

3. Lego Batman in Alexandria

Take your kids to see a free screening of Lego Batman this Friday at 6:30 pm. At the Four Mile Conservatory Building in Alexandria, they provide free popcorn, games, and giveaways! This is something that is perfect for your kids and your friends! They also have all of their movies subtitled in Spanish for a wider viewing audience. Just bring a blanket and enjoy the show!
