The weekend is finally here. That means it’s time to party, dance, and enjoy some Christmas lights. Don’t stay at home all day. Make sure you get out and check out these fun things to do in the DMV this weekend.

If you’re in DC you can party with Santa at Winterfest. This fest takes place in the NoMa neighborhood and stays open from noon to 8pm Friday through Sunday. There will be lights twinkling in the night and tasty food from the Pop-Up Café. You could even bring your significant other and grab a s’more and snuggy blanket to cozy up around a fire pit. Or maybe you just want to bring your closet friends to shop, find DYI projects, take pics with Santa and dance to live music. All this and more will be at Wunder Garten 1101 1st Street NE. Admission to the event is free.

Feel like moving your hips? Check out the Friday Salsa Bachata Night at Game in Baltimore, Maryland. The dance lessons begin at 7pm and end at 10pm. The charge is $10 every Friday for the entire night. But, not only will you learn more than a two-step. Dancers will be able to order food from their full food menu and drink specials.

Nothing screams Christmas like a stroll through a winter light show. Head over to Meadowlark’s Winter Walk of Lights in Bull Run Regional Park in Centreville, Virginia. Stop by on Fridays and the Holidays from 5:30pm to 10:00pm. After the lights you and your crew can enjoy rides, refreshments, and a photo with Santa Claus. Before you go remember to purchase your ticket online.
