If you had major FOMO over pics of your friends all over your Instagram feed at the Game of Thrones pop up bar or Pub Dread this Halloween, you’re in luck. Miracle of Seventh Street or “The Christmas Bar” is decking the halls for its third year from November 24 to December 31.

In its glitziest year yet, be transported to the inside of a Christmas tree with over 6,000 ornaments and garlands hung all around. Pose by a real, 12 foot Christmas tree or take #sleighselfies with a vintage 1890’s red sleigh. You can also knock back a buttered popcorn Manhattan.

The cocktails are a bit pricey at $13 a pop, but they aren’t your typical mixed drink. Buddy the Elf would be proud that “Snow Angels, Ice Skating, Cookie Dough and Snuggles” is making a comeback from last year. Butter and brown sugar infused vodka is sure to keep you in the holiday spirit! And yes, it comes in a Santa mug (that you can purchase - but don't try to steal it. They take your I.D. if you order the drink).

Your favorite holiday flavors like gingerbread and peppermint will also fill the air at the Christmas bar! Warm up with a salted whiskey hot chocolate, paired with aquavit whipped cream and sprinkles. On top of that, egg nog and mulled Manischewitz shots will both go for $5 each (I wonder if it will compare to Pub Dread’s peanut butter shot. Spoiler alert: it was ah-mazing).

Don’t worry if you don’t celebrate Christmas -- “Miracle on Seventh Street” is friendly to all religions! Shouting out all the Jewish families who go to the movies on Christmas Day, a “Chinese and a Movie” room is filled with Chinese takeout menus from the area and red lanterns. Spin a dreidel and light a giant menorah to prep for the eight days of Hanukah! “Maccabeats by Dreidel” is this room’s signature drink, based with rum and cognac, plus a special plum sauce, apple cider vinegar and more!

The lines are sure to be around the block on opening day, but try to go on a not as popular weekday (No one was in line when I went to the Halloween themed bar on a Thursday!)

Location: 1839-1843 7th St. NW, Washington, DC 20001. Hours: Monday - Thursday, 5 p.m. to 12:30 a.m and until 1:30 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. On Saturdays and Sundays, the bar will open at 1 p.m.
