Anyone who knows Gaithersburg, MD knows the legend that is Growlers bar. Set in a historic building from the 1890s, the community staple has the feel of Cheers; a local bar where everybody knows your name. A brief closure had employees and regulars worried, but with the help of entrepreneur Paul Greene, Greene Growlers will be up and running September 30th.

With new management often comes changes, but Greene is committed to keeping many things the same. Fans can rest assured there will still be open mic, trivia, and karaoke nights. Chef Terry French, from Food Network's Extreme Chef, will be serving up fried chicken and barbecue with homemade sauces, among other favorite bar bites. And to wash down that goodness, there will be a variety of 12 different beers to please everyone. Cheers!
