After a group of alt-right demonstrators took over the city of Charlottesville, Virginia in mid-August leading to a weekend of violent protests and the death of a woman, the University of Virginia will host a free 'Concert for Charlottesville.'

The concert will feature Dave Matthews Band, Pharrell Williams, Justin Timberlake, Ariana Grande, Chris Stapleton, Brittany Howard of Alabama Shakes, The Roots, Cage the Elephant and special guests on Sept. 24 at Scott Stadium.

The hope to uplift a community thrown into the limelight of a national issue and celebrate inclusion.

It's Dave Matthews Band's only live performance of 2017.

While the tickets are free, attendees are encouraged to make a donation.

You can request a ticket through Monday, Sept. 11 at noon.

A limited number of tickets are available if you go to the box office at John Paul Jones Arena on Friday. Sept. 15 at 10 a.m.
