Fixer Upper's favorite design business gets premiere date for own show

"Wood Work" is coming to your TV on May 9!

CENTRAL TEXAS — Waco craftspeople Clint and Kelly Harp, whose Harp Design Co. business rose to prominence on HGTV's Fixer Upper, will premiere their own series Wood Work at 9 p.m. CST on May 9 on the DIY Network.

Clint confirmed the news on his Instagram page.

"We couldn't be more excited," Clint told his followers while thanking them for their support.

Clint was Chip and Joanna Gaines' favorite carpenter on their smash hit home renovation show, which recently concluded a five-season run. He is known for using reclaimed or recycled wood and "found objects" to create unique home decor.

The new Wood Work series has been initially cleared for six-episodes, in which the Harps will use scrap wood to revitalize spaces in Central Texas and give them character.
