Human Rights Campaign speaks on Orlando shooting
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - In the wake of the Orlando shooting, many members of several communities are speaking out about equality and acceptance.
Kendra Johnson with the Human Rights Campaign discussed how the LGBT community can move forward from this tragedy.
During the interview, she talked the politics leading up to the shooting and speculated that the shooting happened in June since it has been designated as LGBT Pride Month.
"Ironically, LGBT pride started because of attacks on nightclubs in New York," she stated.
