Join Hike With Hope to end the stigma that surrounds mental illness. 

Organizers are meeting at Franklin Park in Purcellville, Virginia at 11 a.m. You can enjoy the beautiful, early fall colors and hike the Loudoun County countryside.

Hike with Hope is sponsored by the Friends of Loudoun Mental Health.

Nearly 10 million women in the U.S. have Type 2 diabetes. The good news is women with diabetes who regularly drink caffeinated coffee or tea may live longer than those who don't consume caffeine at all, according to new research by scientists in Portugal. No similar association was found for men with diabetes.

In the spirit of it "takes a village to raise a child," D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser recently launched "My Child Care D.C."

It's a one-stop online resource that helps families find and compare child care options in the District. The website will allow families to access critical information from nearly 467 child development centers and home-based providers.
