Murrow and Emmy Award winning investigative reporter Eric Flack grew up in Washington, DC, and was drawn to reporting at an early age.
He worked on the school paper in high school and college, where Eric was a staff writer for the Daily Tar Heel at the University of North Carolina Chapel-Hill.
Eric's defining moment came on 9/11/2001 when he found himself on vacation in New York City during the 9/11 attack on America. He raced to the World Trade Center arriving moments before the first tower fell. Eric teamed with a CBS Network news crew and filed reports from Ground Zero for the next 4 days.
Eric has two decades of experience in local news and currently serves as Executive Producer of Special Projects in addition to his investigative reporting role. In 2012, Eric was voted Best Reporter in Louisville Magazine's "Best of Louisville" contest. His reports have changed policy, exposed government waste and held the powerful accountable in government and law enforcement.
Eric is a graduate of Landon School in Bethesda, Maryland and has two children, Miles and Rosalee.
