WASHINGTON (WUSA) -- Michelangelo's David-Apollo was unveiled on Wednesday at the National Gallery of Art.
It is open to the public starting Thursday and will be there through March as part of a celebration of Italian culture in 30 U.S. cities.
The statue, which was created in 1530, is on loan from the Museo Nazionale del Bargello in Florence.
