WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- The Royal Couple was unveiled at Madame Tussauds in D.C. on Thursday.
The artists at Madame Tussauds spent about four months creating each wax figure.
Kate's wax figure is dressed in an exact copy of the one-of-a-kind pale lilac Alexander McQueen gown that she wore to the BAFTA "Brits to Watch" event in Los Angeles in July 2011.
Prince William is dressed in a debonair navy suit.
British Deputy Ambassador to the United States Patrick Davies did the unveiling of the wax figures of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
