OWINGS MILLS, Md. (AP) - There's more to Terrell Suggs' game than simply overpowering an offensive lineman and throwing the quarterback to the ground.
Suggs is the Baltimore Ravens' career leader in sacks and ranks fourth in the NFL this season with seven. With another sack Sunday against the Green Bay Packers, the 260-pound outside linebacker will set a franchise record with at least one in six straight games.
But Suggs can do more than merely tackle the quarterback. He's tough against the run and solid dropping back to defend a pass.
With four tackles this Sunday, Suggs - now in his 11th season - will become the second-leading tackler in Ravens history behind only Ray Lewis.
Suggs says, "I want to be known as a defender that can do more than just one thing."
