Moscow, Russia (Sports Network) - Andreas Seppi of Italy and Brazil's Thomaz
Bellucci were among the quarterfinal winners Friday at the Kremlin Cup.
The second-seeded Seppi needed just 59 minutes to dispose of Japan's Tatsuma
Ito, 6-2, 6-1, setting up a semifinal on Saturday against Tunisia's Malek
Jaziri. The 112th-ranked Jaziri became the first Tunisian to reach an ATP
semifinal with a 7-6 (7-5), 6-3 victory over Lukas Rosol of the Czech
Republic.
Bellucci, the fourth seed, earned a 6-4, 7-6 (7-3) win over Poland's Jerzy
Janowicz and will face Croatia's Ivo Karlovic in Saturday's semifinals. The
big-serving Karlovic posted a 7-6 (7-4), 6-3 triumph over French qualifier
Edouard Roger-Vasselin, who took out top-seeded Alexandr Dolgopolov in the
second round on Thursday.
Seppi has reached three finals in 2012, winning in Belgrade back in May. He
lost to Andy Roddick in Eastbourne in June and fell to Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in
Metz last month.
Bellucci beat Janko Tipsarevic for the title in Gstaad back in July, while
Karlovic last won a tournament in 2008.
This week's champion will take home $121,520.
