With a record of 12-0-3, Chicago tied the 1984-85 Edmonton Oilers 15-game stretch to start the season and with a point in its next game against Vancouver on Tuesday, the team will tie the 2006-07 Anaheim Ducks' all-time record with 16 straight to begin a campaign. Mike Richards had a pair of goals for the Kings, who had won two straight coming in. Jonathan Quick made 34 saves in the loss.
