Seattle, WA (Sports Network) - Russell Wilson threw two touchdowns to Sidney
Rice and Marshawn Lynch ran for 124 yards and a score, as the Seattle Seahawks
thumped the New York Jets, 28-7, to stay undefeated at home.
Wilson completed an efficient 12-of-19 passes for 188 yards and Golden Tate
caught a score and threw for another for Seattle (6-4), which has strung
together back-to-back wins.
The Jets scored their only points on a 21-yard fumble recovery by Muhammad
Wilkerson in the first quarter. Mark Sanchez, who has led New York (3-6) to
just one offensive touchdown in its last eight quarters, continued to make
poor decisions on Sunday.
He completed just 9-of-22 throws for 124 yards while throwing an interception
in the end zone and losing a fumble in the fourth quarter for New York, which
is off to its worst start since 2007.
Jeremy Kerley caught a game-high five passes for 57 yards for the Jets, who
have dropped three straight and five of their last six.
