Glendale, AZ (Sports Network) - Andre Ethier hit a two-run home run and
Darnell Sweeney hit a triple which also plated two runs as the Los Angeles
Dodgers eased past Mexico, 10-2, on Wednesday in an exhibition contest.
Dodgers pitcher Zack Greinke was scheduled to start, but was scratched due to
the flu. Stephen Fife threw four innings of three-hit ball and allowed one run
in replacement. Matt Kemp added one run scored and two RBI -- both on fielder
choices -- in the victory.
Ramiro Pena had a solo homer and went 2-for-4 for Mexico. Daniel Rodriguez
gave up three runs in the first inning on the mound.
