Daytona Beach, FL (Sports Network) - Moriya Jutanugarn fired a 6-under 66 on
Thursday to move three strokes clear of the field after two rounds of the LPGA
Final Qualifying Tournament.
Jutanugarn, the stage I winner, finished 36 holes at 10-under-par 134. She was
one of three leaders after round one.
Lacey Agnew carded a 5-under 67 to move into second place at minus-7.
Christina Kim, a 2-time winner on the LPGA Tour, also shot 67 to move into
third place at 5-under-par 139.
Kim Welch, who shared the first-round lead with Jutanugarn and Kathleen Ekey,
managed an even-par 72. She dropped into a tie for fourth at minus-4 with
Ayako Uehara (70).
Ekey tripped to a 1-over 73 to slide into a share of sixth at 3-under-par 141.
She stands alongside Laura Diaz (71), Kelly Jacques (71), Austin Ernst (71),
Ashleigh Simon (72), Stephanie Sherlock (70) and Chie Arimura (71).
