Charleston, SC (Sports Network) - Willis Hall netted 18 points on 7-of-10 from
the field to help lead the College of Charleston Cougars to a 69-60 triumph
over the Georgia Southern Eagles in a Southern Conference clash at TD Arena.
Adjehi Baru tallied 13 points and 11 rebounds for Charleston (19-8, 11-4
SoCon), which has won seven of its last eight games. Anthony Stitt added 11
points for the home team.
Eric Ferguson scored a game-high 22 points off the bench for GSU (11-16, 5-9),
while C.J. Reed chipped in 16 points.
Charleston took a comfortable 36-25 lead at intermission after shooting 43.3
percent from the field in the first half.
The Eagles outscored the Cougars in the second half, 35-33, but Charleston's
lead was never in doubt as it extended its advantage to as many as 23.
Charleston outscored GSU from the foul line, 15-10.
