Sean Taylor, Washington Redskins Safety, Remembered 5 Years After His Death

WASHINGTON (WUSA) -- Five years ago today, Washington Redskins safety Sean Taylor died after being shot in his Florida home. He was in a coma for a day before succumbing to his injury.

Five people are accused of killing Taylor during a robbery in his Miami-Dade County home in 2007. Four people pleaded not guilty and face a possible life sentence if they are convicted. A fifth person pleaded guilty to murder and burglary.

Sean Taylor played with the Redskins from 2004 to 2007. This month, Sean Taylor was honored as one of the 80 Greatest Redskins of All-Time.
