WASHINGTON, DC (WUSA) -- Five retailers are teaming up to get some crib tents and play yard tents out of your home. This impacts about 330,000 of the products, and if you have one with the Tots In Mind logo, stop using it.
You'll know if your tent is impacted, if you see the "Tots In Mind" logo located on the non-mesh part of the portion near the top of the tent.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission says babies and toddlers could strangle or become entrapped.
TOTS IN MIND RECALL NOTICE: WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW
A two year old boy died in 2008, when he got trapped between the bottom rail of the play yard tent and the top rail. One year earlier, in 2007, a two year old boy sustained a catastrophic brain injury when the crib tent inverted, and trapped his neck.
Tots In Mind is now out of business. But retailers who sold the products are willing to offer refunds or store credit for use.
They are Amazon, Bed Bath & Beyond / Buy Buy Baby, Burlington Coat Factory, Toys R Us / Babies R Us and Walmart.
