BETHESDA, Md., (WUSA) -- Many parents of young children rely on cabinet locks to keep tiny hands away from certain products that can hurt them.
Today, the Consumer Product Safety Commission recalled nearly one million of them.
They are Safety 1st Push 'N Snap cabinet locks. The affected models are numbered 48391 or 48422, which can be found on the back of the safety locks.
In at least 140 cases, children have been able to open the locks. Three children had to be treated for swallowing or handling household cleaning products.
