WASHINGTON, DC (WUSA) -- Anti-tax crusader Grover Norquist is absolving Republicans who voted for the fiscal cliff deal. He says they did not violate their promise not to raise tax rates.
Norquist says the alternative was a massive tax increase. And he's crowing that the deal permanently locks in "85%" of the Bush tax cuts.
Norquist says three different budget battles in the coming months are likely to be fought on Republican ground and are likely to result in big spending cuts.
