MANTUA, Va. (WUSA9) -- Police arrested a teenage boy for firing a weapon while he was being robbed.
Five suspects attempted to rob a 17-year-old boy when he pulled out a gun and fired several shots, wounding one of them, police said.
The teen has been charged with malicious wounding and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, police said.
The same five robbery suspects had confronted another 17-year-old and taken his cell phone, police said.
Both robbery targets knew the suspects, police said.
The investigation into the robbery continues.
