WOODBRIDGE, Va. (WUSA9) -- Prince William County Police say they have tracked down a man responsible for exposing himself to a woman while he was in his car in Woodbridge.
Police say on Tuesday morning officers responded to the 12500 block of Dillingham Sq in Woodridge to investigate an indecent exposure call. A 19-year-old woman told them she had just parked her vehicle and was walking towards a business when a man in a vehicle began to follow her.
She told police when the vehicle got closer to her the driver began to speak to her. The woman discovered that the driver was exposing himself and making obscene gestures, say police. The woman started to yell, and the man fled the area, according to police.
The woman was able to give police the license plate number, and police say they found 33-year-old Benjamin Price Carter of Manassas at his home. Police say after their investigation they arrested Carter and charged him with indecent exposure and obscene sexual display.
He is being held on $10,000 secured bond and has a court date in July, say police.
