CULPEPER, Va. (WUSA9) -- Two men and a woman were arrested after a drug bust at a home Friday night, police say.
The Culpeper Police Department was investigating alleged drug dealing at a home on West Edmondson Street for about a year, police said.
According to police, the trio sold drugs by a marked police vehicle that was parked nearby.
"It was a brazen and open defiance to the law to sell narcotics in front of a parked unoccupied police car," said Capt. Ricky Pinksaw in a press release.
Controlled buys in the past weeks allowed the police department to obtain a search warrant of the home, said Culpeper Police Lt. Tim Chilton.
Officers for the police department and sheriff's SWAT Team entered the home and found cocaine worth an estimated $6,500.
Paula Mary Shope, 44; Kenneth Darnell Jones, 28; Kameron Jermaine Davis, 29; were charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine, police said.
