LEE HILL, Va. (WUSA9) -- The Spotsylvania County Sheriff's Office authorities say three people have been taken to the hospital after being stabbed at a Days Inn.
Authorities say deputies responded to the Days Inn in the 5300 block of Jefferson Davis Highway at approximately 9:18 a.m. Monday for an assault in progress. Deputies found multiple victims with stab wounds, according to authorities.
The three victims were transported to Mary Washington Hospital with multiple stab wounds and a head injury, say authorities. The victims were in stable with non life-threatening injuries at last check, according to authorities.
Authorities say it is believed a large fight broke out. Detectives are still interviewing witnesses.
Right now, there is no suspect description.
