ALEXANDRIA, Va. (WUSA) -- Department of Justice officials say that 28-year-old Yanira del Carmen Guerrero Andrade pleaded guilty to recruiting a 15-year-old girl to become a prostitute.
Guerrero Andrade, also known as Yadira or Litsy, lured the teen runaway into her boyfriend's sex trade business in January 2009. After meeting Revolorio Ramos, the teen was taken from Maryland into Virginia to work as a prostitute, according to the statement of facts with Guerrero Andrade's plea agreement. In three days, the teen would have sexual relations with more than 40 people total.
In June 2010, the teen moved in to the basement of a home Guerrero Andrade and Ramos shared. She paid rent with money she made from prostitution.
The teen girl was also given information to work for other prostitution businesses when she was not working for Ramos.
Earlier this month, Ramos was sentenced to 188 months in prison for his role in sex trafficking a child. Guerrero Andrade faces 10 years to life in prison at her sentencing hearing on May 10.
